TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14 - SUNDAY, MARCH 31

For several years, our NFUMC church family members have donated $1 per day for the 40 days of Lent to raise funds that support Bridging the Gap’s food pantry. For $1 each day, or $40 per person, you CAN make a huge difference. One soda, one snack, a cup of coffee – give it up and feed someone in need! Visit our Missions page for details.

Enjoy an evening of fellowship and pancakes to kick off the Lenten season. The pancake dinner is cooked and served by your very own NFUMC staff members! There is no cost and no need for reservations. We would love to see everyone come out and take part in this wonderful tradition.

Ash Wednesday emphasizes two themes: our sinfulness before God and our human mortality. The service focuses on both themes, helping us realize that both have been triumphed through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

During the period of Lent, local churches take turns hosting a service and lunch ($5). The community is invited as Newnan First hosts this event on March 22. Please join us in the Sanctuary at 12:00 PM for the service followed by a lunch at 12:30 PM in the Parish Hall.
