Lenten Services & Easter Sunday

Lent is a time of repentance, fasting and preparation for the coming of Easter. It is a time of self-examination and reflection before welcoming in the Easter Season, the most joyous and celebrative season of the Christian year. We celebrate the good news that in Christ’s death and resurrection we, and all creation, are continually being made new by God’s love and saving grace.

We hope you will join Newnan First United Methodist Church for worship, fellowship, and service during the lenten season.

Give It Up For Lent

Annual Campaign Supporting Bridging the Gap

We're collecting money for Bridging the Gap during the Lenten season through our annual campaign, Give It Up For Lent (GIUFL)!

Bridging the Gap provides support and resources to those in physical and financial need. They serve as a food bank and provide showers and utility assistance. We seek to show love to the marginalized in our community through assisting BTG.

We challenge you to give $40, or $1/day of Lent, (at least!) for this cause. You can give cash or checks to the office or place in the offering plate on Sundays, or give online.
